Ness '7-Valve' Forged Wheel Rims
Arlen Ness Enterprises has these new '7-Valve' forged wheels available, in a choice of rim sizes, in black anodized with CNC-machined aluminum contrast for H-D and Indian models.
Zach Ness told AMD: "Each one of the seven spokes is tapered and features sculpted sides with a cut-out center for 'heavy' styling that doesn’t add weight to the motorcycle. To keep it consistent, we brought the same design philosophy to the rim lip where large pockets have been CNC-machined between each spoke to reduce as much weight as possible - while adding bold styling."
Precision CNC-machined from radial forged 6061-T6 aluminum, these wheels have been structurally tested to meet or exceed DOT, JAS and TÜV international load ratings. The cartridge type hub design results in "superior radial and lateral runout accuracy. Just choose the rim size (rims sold separate from hub) and then your correct hub application. These are rims only, hub must also be additionally purchased for a complete assembly."
Made from Arlen Ness proprietary 6061-T6 aluminum wheel forgings with detailed CNC machining from the smooth rolled lip of the rim to the center of the wheel hub.
The proprietary hub design features both wheel bearings pre-set in one hub to achieve the optimum radial and lateral runout accuracy and proprietary fully sealed wheel bearings with ABS rings for ABS and non-ABS model compatibility.
Front wheel sizes run from 18" x 3.5" through to 26" x 3.5", with choice of three rears from 17" x 6.25" to 18" x 5.5".
Matching two-piece floating brake rotors are available in 11.5"/11.8"/14". They have a CNC- machined billet inner carrier and jagged style 420 stainless steel outer band, drilled and cut to disperse heat under braking. Oversized rotor 14" brake caliper adapter brackets and 14" calipers are available separately.
