M-8 Softail Footpeg Adapters, Floorboard and Tour-Pak Relocation Kits

Owned and operated by Kevin Pirolo and Devin Bright, Kevin says: "Harley-Davidson, in its sometimes perplexing reasoning, changed the footpeg clevis on M-8 Softails so that NONE of the footpegs made for any other Harley-Davidson will fit the M-8 Softail.
"This means that, until now, the owner of an M-8 Softail had to purchase M-8 Softail-specific pegs. On top of that, pegs that fit the rider mount won't fit the passenger mount! Two different style mounts on the same bike. Grrr.
"This has meant that hundreds of H-D brand pegs, and thousands of aftermarket footpeg designs, would NOT fit any M-8 Softail, until now. The patent-pending DK Custom M-8 Softail footpeg adapter changes all that. You can now run whatever pegs you like - our adapters get the job done."
You can also run DK Custom chrome or black floorboards with this one adapter design. "It's an easy switch," says Kevin. "Simply remove the funky factory pegs, install your favorite pegs with the adapter, and you're good to go - rider or passenger." Fitment is for all 2018 and up Softails. An easy 5-minute install, they ship with all needed hardware.

Also seen here, the DK Custom Products floorboard relocation kit (also for all 2018 and up Softails) extends the rider's floorboard outward by 1" and forward by 1.5". Made in powder- coated, precision CNC-machined billet aluminum and sold with Grade 8 hardware, the kit is designed for a more comfortable and natural sitting position, getting the feet further away from the exhaust and reducing the cramping of the knees.
The repositioning means that riders can, in effect, use the entire floorboard rather than just the outside or front half. "Once you ride with them, you will be surprised how cramped you feel on bikes with the floorboards right next to the motor," says Kevin.
"These are different to typical floorboard extensions. While they do extend the floorboards out, the additional room created by moving them forward by 1.5" gives a radically improved riding experience."

Finally, and while we're on the subject of relocating things to improve the ergonomics of Harley's own design decisions, this Tour-Pak relocation kit for 2014 and up Touring and Tri-Glide models moves the Tour-Pak back by 1", 2" or 3", making more room for the passenger.
An easy, simple, modification-free bolt-on install, it makes it much easier for the passenger to climb on and off the bike, especially if there is a driver's backrest.
