Wheels & Waves
June 11-15, Biarritz, France
This year's annual Wheels & Waves poster (#14 in the collectable series) was designed by Japanese designer Kiichi, (a fan of custom motorcycles and 19th Century French Poet Charles Baudelaire). He was given carte blanche for his own interpretation of this annual staple of European Moto Culture.
Inspired by his impressions during his first visit to Wheels & Waves Biarritz in 2024, the poster is named "Heaven's Door" and is an "invitation for us all to push open the doors of our universe." And, no doubt, see some bikes, drink some beer and spend some money.
Meanwhile, under the Indian Motorcycle tent (again a leading supporter of the event) Ola Stenegärd, Head of Design at Indian Motorcycle will be taking a rather more Swedish American approach to his Indian Motorcycle passion, one influenced no doubt by the post-World War cultural phenomenon that is still to be found in much of Europe and known in Swedish as "Raggare".
So, culture has its place but pass me a beer and let's talk bikes!
