All-New Biltwell Lane Splitter ECE R22.06 Helmets
Described as "aggressively styled and beautifully handcrafted," Lane Splitter was the first Biltwell helmet engineered to meet Europe’s comprehensive motorcycle safety standards a decade ago.
Today, the company's feature-rich helmet for high-performance riders is ECE R22.06 certified to ensure high levels of rider safety and protection. The latest edition of Biltwell’s Lane Splitter helmet is "built for riders who demand comfort and protection in one stripped-down, high-performance package. Features include a rugged ABS outer shell, dual density EPS safety liner, replaceable comfort liner, and a CE-certified polycarbonate shield."
Every new ECE R22.06-certified Biltwell full-face helmet now features three outer shell sizes. The new dual density EPS safety shell inside this year’s Lane Splitter features a revised shape to improve comfort.
Additional features include a CE-certified polycarbonate shield with anti-fog and anti-scratch treatments; new dual density EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) safety liner for enhanced impact load attenuation; rugged, lightweight, injection-molded ABS outer shell (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) and removable/replaceable comfort liner and cheek pads.
Interior ventilation is through front, side and rear vents. Colors include flat black or gloss black, gloss white, a new Metallic Cherry Red and three new gloss colorways - Tahoe Blue, black/white flames and olive green. These new Lane Splitters are also U.S. DOT FMVSS No. 218 compliant.
