Tucker to Re-Enter the Snow and Winter Sports Markets

Following the announcement that Tucker Powersports has entered the PWC and boating aftermarket, the Fort Worth, Texas based distributor has now confirmed its expected addition of parts, accessories and G&A for the snowmobile and winter sports markets.
The new collection will include a broad range of products, available to snowmobile and UTV owners through their local Tucker dealer.

VP Sales Brad Turner: "Our new program helps dealers expand their offerings to include winter apparel and parts."

The Tucker Snow product line will include apparel, accessories, vehicle parts, tools and snow sports equipment. "This product collection marks Tucker’s return to the distribution of winter sports products and the parts and accessories needed to repair and maintain snowmobiles," said VP Sales Brad Turner.  

 

"Over 1,200 of our current dealer customers sell snowmobiles, UTVs and other winter powersports products. Our new program helps dealers expand their offerings to include winter apparel, snow helmets, replacement parts, lubricants, trailering needs and thousands of suspension, engine and drivetrain components for both competition and casual winter sports.
"In addition, the product line includes snowshoes, toboggans, sleds and other items for non-powered winter fun.
"A significant portion of the Tucker Snow catalog is dedicated to a large selection of parts and service items for hundreds of models of snowmobiles from Artic Cat, Polaris, Ski-Doo and Yamaha. The offering includes both OEM replacement parts and performance upgrades."
Notable brands that are included in the catalog and are new to Tucker are Motorfist, Woody's, CA Pro Skis, Zox Snow Helmets, Sportstuff and Yukon Charlie's. The other brands in the Tucker Snow collection are familiar to Tucker dealers, including 100%, Quantum, Motion Pro, NGK, Cruz Tools and Yuasa Battery.

PN-Performance Signs With MEC

Established in 2020, MEC GmbH (The Motorcycle Equipment Company) in Germany is a joint venture between the KessTech sound management exhausts business and Austrian custom accessories manufacturer Cult-Werk.

Following the announcement of a deal to distribute exhausts from Austrian manufacturer Remus, MEC has now announced that it will additionally distribute for Swiss/French mapping specialist PN-Performance (Poivre Noir SA/Black Pepper SA).
Trading under the PN-Performance brand and mainly a developer of accessories and mapping tools for Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycle models, Poivre Noir SA CEO Benoit Lahouel says that its mapping "can be done all over the world thanks to data transfer via secured networks from Switzerland and is always customized to the individual bike.
"Our specialty is custom performance ECU reprogramming with thousands of parameters modified one by one, by hand by our engineers, to achieve a tailor-made Poivre Noir performance stage 1.
"Thanks to the decryption and the recompilation of the entire engine control module (ECU), the performance adjustment made on your motorcycle is better than any automation boxes set on a bench by a mechanic.
"We equipped our first bike with PN-Performance mapping in 2017 and since then annual growth has been over 200%. We are now present in six countries, with many more to follow. By 2019 some 4,000 bikes had already been equipped with our personalized mapping."

Custom Chrome Europe has these new 'Flow Bars' by German custom bike builder and parts designer Fred Kodlin in three heights - medium (280 mm), tall (380 mm) and extra tall (140 mm).
Available for selected M-8 Softail, Road Glide and Road King models, these super fat 1.4" handlebars are 840 mm wide with a 140 mm pullback.

Designed for Throttle By Wire applications, they have a 1.25" knurled clamping area and 3-hole cable routing. They are handcrafted in Europe in 3 mm premium grade steel tube for reduced vibrations and ship in raw finish.

The 'TailWhip', from legendary Californian custom seats specialist Le Pera, has proven itself to be as versatile as it is stylish and, seen here for the FXR, it takes the company's top selling 'KickFlip' "one step further" with its "whipped up tail."

The 6" of back support for the driver, 11" driver seating area width and the little extra comfort for the passenger (6.5" wide) is combined with a look that suits "the more adventurous customer." It mounts with the stock hinge and latch kit (not provided).

39 mm Sportster Fork Shrouds

If you're looking for some added beef for a Sportster front end, then these fork shrouds created by Brunswick, Ohio based Lowbrow add muscle and authenticity in equal measure. 

Available in raw steel or black finishes, they are easy to install on Sportsters from 1987 and up - plus certain Dyna models or any other bike with a 39 mm narrow glide front end.
