Motorcycle and ATV Sales Through Q2
The MIC is reporting that among the leading brands that it monitors, sales of new motorcycles and scooters decreased by -9.1% through the second quarter of 2025, compared with the same period the previous year. ATVs decreased -2.6% among leading brands.
"While overall motorcycle sales dipped in Q2 2025 compared to the same period last year, there are encouraging signs," said Buckner Nesheim, MIC Director of Research and Statistics. "Sport and trail bikes each saw 10% growth, and sport ATVs were up 14%, even as the broader ATV segment declined."
Motorcycles and scooters accounted for 76.3% of total new-unit sales through Q2, and ATVs represented 23.7%.
