OEM Harley-Davidson heads, handported by Matt Smith Racing, are scanned and replicated by Arsenal’s Rottler 5-axis CNC, then machined, utilizing the company’s proprietary dimple technology.

John Silseth, Arsenal’s President, says the service is also available on “your or your customer’s heads, on a 5 to 10 business day turn-around basis.
“OEM Harley cylinders are bored oversize 3.937 inches (100 mm) and plated with our proprietary AR-F1 for heat reduction, durability, and increased horsepower. The cylinders are honed to industry leading tolerances using our Rottler H-75A CNC automatic power stroke diamond-honing machine.

“We have developed a proprietary dome shaped performance Arsenal Racecraft /CP-Carrillo piston to fit the custom chambers for the AR-107 kit, and a proprietary performance - torque and horsepower – Arsenal Racecraft/Andrews .610 lift cam specifically for this kit.

“In conjunction with Pulstar, we have developed a proprietary Plasma Plug, using innovative plasma-assisted combustion technology to increase horsepower and torque. The valvetrain has oversize stainless steel valves (1.900 intake and 1.630 exhaust, both with 7 mm stem), bronze intake and exhaust guides, and high-performance valve springs with titanium retainers.

“We finish the performance upgrade with performance adjustable push rods and chrome push rod tubes with O-rings and a Cometic hi-performance gasket kit. For Indian motorcycles, we have an AR-117 kit going into production in December.”
