Polaris’ travails with Slingshot safety concerns show no sign of abating yet, with news that “certain 2017 Slingshot, Slingshot SL, and Slingshot SLR vehicles” are being recalled because “three of the bolted connections between the steering and the front suspension may have been insufficiently tightened, possibly resulting in a reduction of steering and/or front suspension performance.”
Harley has completed the planned transfer of all Softail cruiser production to its Kansas City plant from York, Pennsylvania. The move will result in eight salaried and 110 hourly paid jobs being closed-out at York, as anticipated some time ago, with the same numbers being hired at Kansas to replace them.
Tucker Rocky/Biker’s Choice has announced Dan Bradley as Vice President of Operations. “Bradley brings more than 25 years of experience in process and supply chain management for companies including Case New Holland, Manitowoc Cranes and Kubota.” Bradley will assume responsibility for all distribution operations and will be based at Tucker Rocky’s Fort Worth headquarters.
