CV Performance continues to introduce tuning parts and improvements for H-D carbs with its latest product launch – a choke relocation bracket. It has been designed to offer easy access to the choke knob, while giving the carb and engine a clean, custom look.
CV Performance’s choke bracket moves the CV carburetor choke knob from the stock location on ’90 -‘06 Big Twin or Sportster models to the top of the carb. It is made from stainless steel and includes stainless steel mounting hardware. While the bracket works with aftermarket air cleaner assemblies, it will only work on the stock plastic air cleaner assembly if the backing is modified.
For large touring style fuel tanks the supplied hardware (long screws, nuts) allows for the bracket to be mounted on the underside of the cover hole tabs to lower the bracket and knob height. Mounting in a lower position may require the use of a shorter Sportster style choke cable.
