KOTB 2026 Schedule

KOTB 2026 Schedule - 14 Rounds at Seven AMA Superbike Race Weekends

MotoAmerica has announced nine rounds featuring 20 Superbike Races for AMA Superbike Racing's 50th anniversary year - with 7 of those weekends featuring KOTB double headers.

The first official AMA Superbike was race held at Daytona International Speedway in March of 1976 with Reg Pridmore capturing that Superbike Championship on a BMW R90S.

All nine rounds next year will feature the premier Superbike and Motovation Supersport classes, with the Superbikes again set to have two tripleheaders - at Virginia International Raceway and New Jersey Motorsports Park.

In addition to the Superbike and the newly revised Superbike Cup and Supersport classes, the championship will feature five additional classes at select rounds - Mission King Of The Baggers, Parts Unlimited Talent Cup By Motul, Twins Cup, Mission Super Hooligan National Championship, and Royal Enfield Build.Train.Race.

The sophomore season of the Parts Unlimited Talent Cup By Motul will see the ultra-competitive class racing 16 times, with the series' youngest riders set to battle at all the Superbike rounds except for Road America and Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

The Talent Cup racers will again get the chance to showcase their skills to the world as their series will begin at Circuit of The Americas during the MotoGP weekend in Texas, March 27-29.

Mission King Of The Baggers will race 14 times next year, with doubleheaders at Daytona International Speedway, Road Atlanta, Road America, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Circuit of The Americas, and New Jersey Motorsports Park.

Harley-Davidson x Dynojet Factory Race Team rider Kyle Wyman was crowned 2025 Mission King of the Baggers champion during the MotoAmerica double-header at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, in September 2025.

The Mission Super Hooligan National Championship will join the Baggers at six of the rounds - Daytona, Barber, Ridge Motorsports Park, Laguna Seca, Mid-Ohio, and VIR.

The SC-Project Twins Cup will battle 14 times, starting its season at Daytona with six more rounds at Road Atlanta, Barber, Road America, Mid-Ohio, VIR, and NJMP.

The women of the Royal Enfield Build.Train.Race. series will again chase an eight-race championship with their schedule set to be released shortly.

Harley-Davidson India

Harley has a New Hero

Harley-Davidson India has unveiled an updated X440 for 2026 – the X440T - "as the next step in an evolving legacy" for the X440 that first went on sale in Indian in 2023.

Described as a "street legal [in India] roadster built for performance" and a "modern expression of Harley-Davidson's heritage" it is to be sold internationally now, although not in the United States and, as far as we can determine, not in any European markets either.

This model is not to be confused with the H-D Spirit that, having not after all appeared at the Milwaukee Harley dealer convention in October, is now slated for second half 2026 sale in the United States and (presumably) Europe.

That bike was originally 'pimped' by former CEO Jochen Zeitz as due for an October dealer meeting tease, as one of two sub $10,000 models that will be the Milwaukee response to a market zeitgeist that Zeitz swore he'd never take the brand anywhere near.

Built in India for Harley by Hero MotoCorp, this new X440T is a 27 HP air-cooled 440 cc single brand 'place holder' with 38 Nm of torque, an 805 mm seat height (unladen) with rider safety enhancements such as switchable rear ABS and traction control, a re-designed rear subframe with all new tail section, new exhaust with heat shield and end cap, bar-end mirrors and 3.5" display with H-D Connect service, a 3.5" TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, USB charging and Road/Rain Ride Modes.

BS Battery

MAXimum Battery Performance for Cruiser and Touring

Paris based BS Battery has added five new models to its SLA MAX line-up that have been specified for the demands of the big engines used in Cruisers, and touring bikes from the 'Big Inch' V-twins from H-D and Indian Motorcycles to select Japanese and European made platforms from the likes of Honda, Yamaha, BMW, Triumph, Ducati and Moto Guzzi.

The BGZ Series delivers the "power and reliability needed for power-hungry machines. These have maintenance-free, non-spillable, factory-activated AGM batteries come ready to install straight out of the box."

Engineered for "maximum performance in demanding conditions", BS Battery says the batteries are "not just powerful", but that they are the most powerful lead-acid models in their range, delivering up to +20% more starting power and capacity than standard SLA (Sealed Lead Acid) batteries.

Features include built-in copper terminals for enhanced conductivity and improved torque performance, offering up to 50% better connection than standard terminals. Taller internal plates are designed to boost starting power, and rugged construction increases vibration resistance.

With cold cranking amps of up to 500A, the series also features both front and top connections, making installation easier, especially on V-twin and other heavy-duty motorcycles where space and access matter.

For dealers needing to fit even more power, but with less weight, the BS Battery Lithium Max range is the "ultimate solution for riders who need maximum battery performance without adding horsepower robbing weight.

Developed specifically for V-twins, ATVs, UTVs, SSVs, additional features such as low self-discharge and extended battery life make these "high-end batteries have been built to meet the superior needs of power sports enthusiasts and professional riders alike."

The external preload adjuster allows quick tuning to for load and riding style, and the performance spring rate makes for "for agile handling without sacrificing comfort, improved ride quality, stability, and cornering clearance with reduced front-end dive under aggressive braking."

The 'secret sauce' is 'asymmetrics' - a split function cartridge design of the kind that is commonplace on European and Japanese made sportbike suspensions and is now starting to find its way onto front suspensions for V-twin cruisers, tourers and performance applications.

The right fork manages compression damping while the left controls rebound, giving the rider independent fine-tuning for "ultimate precision. Tool-free adjustments make dialing in the setup fast and effortless. Quickly adapt the suspension to different rider weights or loads with the easy-to-use preload adjuster. MIVV

MIVV - M8 Touring Exhausts

Established in 1970, MIVV is one of Italy's established 'mainstream' exhaust manufacturing 'majors' and EICMA this year saw them unveiling a first look at an update to its Harley aftermarket line.

Featuring exhaust systems for 2017-2025 M8 models, the MIVV priority is to develop exhausts that do three things without compromising or impacting any one of them - look good, sound great and add to the performance story of the models concerned.

"The end result," the company says, "is an aesthetically pleasing, stylish design that emphasizes the unmistakable characteristics of sound of the twin-cylinder engines, with improved performance."

MIVV initially made a name for itself in 'Harley-World' with its exhausts for the Pan America (2021 to 2025) and Sportster S (2021 to 2024).

These new additions are for the Touring models - the Glides and CVOs produced from 2017 to 2025. While "emphasizing the classic H-D sound" the company says this new HR1 line has added 3.5 hp to the maximum power.

The 4.5" muffler is made of highly 'workable' AISI 304 Austenitic stainless steel - a high-performance alloy known for its non-magnetic properties, excellent corrosion resistance, and high ductility - even at very low temperatures. It has a face-centered-cubic (fcc) crystal structure, achieved through the addition of austenite-stabilizing elements like nickel, manganese, and nitrogen, with the most common alloy being the "18:8" grade (18% chromium and 8% nickel).

Two finishes are offered - matte black paint or mirror-polished brushing; two styles are available - slash cut or round aluminum end cap. In addition to the two Euro 5 homologated street versions, Racing versions are available with a catalytic converter elimination pipe.
