Kellermann

Chicago Design prize for Kellermann

KELLERMANN, the German specialist motorcycle lighting company, has received a ‘Good Design’ prize from the US, for its handlebar end indicator BL 2000 Dark. The prize from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design awards the most innovative and cutting-edge industrial, product, and graphic designs produced around the world every year. The winners become part of the permanent exhibition at the Chicago Athenaeum and the BL 2000 Dark is now part of that line-up.

Kellermann has received many awards in the past for the BL 2000 - the most notable being the Red Dot Award in 2014. The awards jury searched for the best in international product design and found it in Kellermann product portfolio.
For 2015 a brand new and version of the BL 2000 being brought to market – the BL 2000 Chrome. Created for use on custom bikes, choppers, café racers and other chrome bikes, the BL 2000 Chrome uses Kellermann ‘HighPower’ LED technology in a metal casing.
