Dual Cool - The Ultimate Engine Cooling System
Harley-Davidson Twin Cams often suffer from cooling problems which makes them run too hot. The Milwaukee-Eight is even worse. Fuel injection tuning or the installation of tuning parts like open air cleaners, open exhausts, performance cams and/or Big Bore kits are well-known to increase cooling problems.
"The Dual Cool system is an easy to install solution that even improves the looks of your ride. Dual Cool kits bolt to the horn mount on the left side of the frame, just between the front and rear cylinder heads. They direct lots of cool air to the cylinder head hot spots, cooling them down to reduce engine and oil temperature and increase engine life."
The Dual Cool Windstorm is a minimalistic design that solves moderate cooling issues. The Dual Cool Hurricane features bigger ventilator fans that even solve severe cooling issues. The bigger size unfortunately makes the Hurricane weigh more and this makes the use of a vibration tamer kit mandatory on 2009-2016 Twin Cam Touring and Trike models.
A vibration tamer is also recommended on other models that vibrate more than average. Hurricanes and vibration tamer kits must be ordered separately. Both are plug and play for 1999-2013 Touring models, installation on other models requires the separate purchase of a model-specific wiring adapter.

The front toe section is slightly raised for comfort. These driver floorboards replace the stock boards on 1980 to present Touring, 2009 to present Trike, 1986 to present FL Softail and 2012-2016 FLD Switchback.

Complete 2-into-1 exhaust system with 4" (101 mm) diameter black ceramic coated stainless steel muffler with a black ceramic coated 'Revolver-style' aluminum end cap. System has brushed stainless steel headers, which are partially covered with carbon fiber heat shields. The E-approval makes the exhaust street legal all over the European community.
