Harley-Davidson

Harley Reveals More Details of Eponymous Bagger World Cup

Harley-Davidson used the occasion of the 82nd EICMA expo at Milan in November to reveal further details of its plans for the Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup.

During a press conference, the brand revealed the series' official logo, debuted a prototype race bike, and announced the first teams confirmed to compete in the inaugural season. Kicking off in 2026, the series will run alongside six Liberty Media owned MotoGP Grands Prix - "marking a significant evolution in the company's racing legacy.

"The Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup will become the world's first global racing series dedicated exclusively to high-performance Harley-Davidson baggers. Built on the brand's Grand American Touring platform, these race-modified bikes will deliver incredible speed, agility, and on-track drama. They weigh approximately 280 kg (617 lbs), produce more than 200 horsepower, and will exceed 300 km/h (186 mph) on track, creating a visceral racing format distinct from anything currently on the MotoGP calendar."

The first teams conformed for the series are Saddlemen Racing (United States), Joe Rascal Racing (Australia) and Cecchini Racing (Italy).

Saddlemen Racing enters as one of America's most established and innovative V-twin performance programs. Led by David Echert, the team competes in MotoAmerica's King of the Baggers and claimed the 2024 Mission Super Hooligan National Championship, earning a reputation for technical excellence, rider development, and race-winning engineering. "With deep roots in V-twin performance culture, Saddlemen brings proven capability and championship ambition to the global stage."

Joe Rascal Racing is led by James Tonna and represents Australia's "bold new voice in premium performance and international motorsport" and Cecchini Racing "brings Italian motorsport heritage and decades of elite European racing experience to the championship."

Kolja Rebstock, Harley's Senior VP for International Markets said: "Since the initial announcement of the series, we've seen tremendous interest from well-established and respected organizations. We've designed the series to feature between six and eight teams, for a total of 12 to 16 riders, and with these first three agreements, we've already filled almost half the grid. It's going to be loud, competitive, and unlike anything fans have ever seen before."

The championship will span six rounds, each held during MotoGP weekends, with two races per round, totaling 12 races across the season.

Bigtwin Bike Show & Expo

Bigtwin Bike Show & Expo

Houten, The Netherlands November 7-9

The 32nd edition of the annual Bigtwin Bikeshow & Expo, organized by Dutch custom bike magazine Bigtwin, was beyond all expectations. Records were broken, more than 19.000 visitors, 142 registrations for the bike show, many presentations on three stages, 129 vendors and live music on all of the three days proved that the custom bike scene in The Netherlands at the moment is alive and kicking.

All well-known companies such as H-D, Indian, Zodiac, Snap-on Tools, Motorcycle Storehouse attended the show in full force. Even S&S was present with several people and famous powerful engines!

Don Cronin from Ireland won Best in Show with his beautiful Medaza Cycles built Nimbus Four.

In the AMD Approved Bigtwin Bikeshow it was again an all international gathering of the very best custom bikes from The Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Ireland, Germany, England, Belgium, Slovakia, France, Austria, Italy and elsewhere.

The main sponsor was Zodiac International, who gave a staggering € 10,000 in vouchers with Radical Customz from Belgium, offering prizes worth € 5,000 in vouchers for custom paint and 16 additional sponsors - the winners received a total of over € 24,000 in vouchers, parts and cash.

Former AMD World Champion Don Cronin from Ireland won Best in Show with his beautiful Medaza Cycles built Nimbus Four - a completely one-off, hand crafted four-cylinder Nimbus with a one-off aluminium cylinder head by Medaza, with a twin carb conversion. A stunning, motorcycle with so many details - quite simply incredible!

Freestyle winner was Brit Larry Houghton of Lamb Engineering with his Norton Rotary.

Johan Wijers won the Classic Class with his bike 'The Half Harley'!

The Freestyle winner was Brit Larry Houghton of Lamb Engineering with his Norton Rotary. Another rarity, it was based on an ex-Police 600 cc Norton Wankel engine, with Arillia swingarm, Ducati front-end and wheels, with all the other parts and bodywork custom made by Larry in his own workshops - a stunning piece of rolling art that was a deserving winner of the biggest trophy at the Bigtwin Expo for the 2025 AMD Approved Freestyle Class win.

All the way from Spain, Manuel del Campo Escotet returned home with not one, but two huge prizes. His KTM 950SM has been Manuel's 'canvas' for seven years, painting his masterpiece with polychromia work carried out in oil and brush - featuring direct references to the work of Renaissance Master Hyeronimus Bosch. An exemplar of fine lines, meticulous details, and craftsmanship of the highest order, not only was he the Best Paint winner but he also got chosen (with a huge majority of the votes) as the 2025 'Public Choice'.

First Place in the Chopper/Bobber Class was Bart Hendriks with his Knuckle/Pan Chopper.

Johan Wijers won the Classic Class with his bike 'The Half Harley'! It is an H-D 1,000 cc 8-valve racebike, of which the front cylinder was removed so that he could race it in the 500 cc Class during the first TT Race in Assen, The Netherlands. That was exactly 100 years after it was raced by famous racer Bertus van Hamersveld, who was leading until a seized valve saw him slow and passed, but still taking second place.

First Place in the Chopper/Bobber Class was Bart Hendriks with his Knuckle/Pan Chopper. The engine is built using parts from a Knuckle-, Pan, Shovel-, and Evolution. A mechanical masterpiece of a beautiful chopper.

Clubstyle/Performance Bagger Class winner at the Bigtwin Bikeshow was Rudy Urbain with his H-D Clubstyle Factory / Lio Custom Low Rider S. In the Caferacer/Tracker Class overall winner was Enrico de Haas - Wannabe-Choppers, Germany.

It's not often you see Hyeronimus Bosch inspiring artwork on two wheels - Manuel del Campo Escotet (Spain) was Best Paint winner and was also chosen (with a huge majority of the votes) as the 2025 'Public Choice'.

His Royal-Enfield 650 Continental GT has a cast aluminium monocoque tank/seat unit, cast fairing and many handcrafted parts. The motorcycle took 1,100 hours to build and is pure art, with incredible sand-cast parts and so many details!

An Indian Scout, built by Florian Pfante at USM in Germany was the proud winner of the Custom Modified Class. His "UNIKAT" Indian Scout with USM/RF-Biketech wheels, custom made fenders and Wilbers Suspension, and a very detailed paintjob is a real eye-catcher, winning many prizes!

The Yamaha of Peter, Adventure Ride, took first prize in the Allroad/Adventure Class. Alexander 'TikiAlex' Frischauf came from Austria to claim the biggest trophy in the Mopeds & Minibikes Class. His cool customized Lambretta SX200 'Serveta' has a 20cm stretched frame, the engine has a big bore kit and 34mm Amal carburator; the special paint with its Silver base paint has a Black marble effect under Green Candy with the theme being Tattoo and Motorhead, with engravings, chrome and gold plating providing the finishing touches.

SP Concepts

SP Concepts 4.5" M8 Slip-Ons

Lake Elsinore, California based exhaust manufacturer SP Concepts has launched these new Street Pro 4.5" Performance Slip On mufflers for M8 Baggers.

"While we are primarily known for our incredible stainless 2-1 systems, we also wanted to bring a performance slip on for the touring crowd that doesn't require tuning and still gives them that signature killer SPC sound," says company co-founder Greg Miranda.

Designed to open up the sound and performance over a stock 4" muffler, SP Concepts finalized its design with a 4.5" body muffler, a perforated core system, a billet end cap, and available finishes in Ceramic Black or Chrome.

"The larger muffler body and particular core we use really makes the Harley sound how they should. Deep, throaty tones and a larger diameter really do justice on the M8s." They fit all Touring models for M8 from 2017-2025.

Feuling Parts

BA Air Cleaner Program Additions

Feuling Parts has added to its popular BA Air Cleaner program with a new 'Slim' fitment that has been "designed with rider comfort in mind."

The 'Slim' features a compact 2.375" deep cage, offset toward the front of the motorcycle to provide increased leg room and improved ergonomics - "the redesigned velocity stack delivers the same high-volume air flow that riders have come to expect from our original BA Air Cleaner."

Quickly established as a top seller, the original full-width BA was initially most closely associated with Center Cooled M8 applications and available for 2017-2024 M8 models, 2023+ VVT models and selected 2024-2025 M8 models.

Last year Feuling announced that the 2017-2024 fitments were now 50 state legal in USA (Carb Compliant – EO # D-881).

The design lengthens the intake runners and increases air velocity, delivering added volume for "balanced dynamic flow". They come with a high flow reusable air filter and one-piece billet cage. The highflow billet aluminum velocity stack has an optimal opening diameter outer lip and internal (ID) taper.

The full-width BA Air Cleaner range is additionally available for a wide range of Twin Cam and Evo applications – such as 1985-2007 Touring (Excluding 95-01 EFI), 1999- 2017 Dyna 1985-2015 Softails and TBW 2008-2016 Touring, 2016-2017 Softail and 2016-2017 FXDLS.

They are available in black or chrome, with choice of red or black filters.
