Beauty and The Beast - SPC 'Black Onyx' Performance Exhausts
Lake Elsinore, California-based exhaust manufacturer SP Concepts debuts its new lineup of Black ONYX performance exhaust systems.
An industry first in the V-twin exhaust market, SP Concepts uses a ceramic coating, and a specialized prep process to ensure the amazing color in the welds remains after spraying.
"We've been toying with the idea for a while now, after doing a couple SPC badges we started wondering how much more badass it could look to leave all the welds exposed," said company co-founder Greg Miranda.
"Honestly, we cringe a little bit inside every time someone orders a black system knowing that all those beautiful welds will be covered up. But now they get the best of both worlds. Black coated exhausts are nothing new to the marketplace, but combining amazing tig welds on a premium stainless material that can now showcase both is a gamechanger for Harley Davidsons."
Black ONYX is available for every model exhaust SPC produces, and can be added to its entry level 'Lanesplitter' all the way up to the super-premium Works Edition and Pro Flo systems.
