Named as AFT's Official Communications System, Cardo Systems is now Under New Ownership
Cardo's industry-leading PACKTALK BOLD, featuring Dynamic Mesh Communication, to provide efficient 'always on' comms for Progressive AFT Honda Talon Experience.
Cardo Systems, "a global market leader in Bluetooth and mesh communication systems for motorcyclists," has been announced as the official communicator of the 2021 Progressive American Flat Track season - "Cardo's PACKTALK BOLD will be featured as an important piece of equipment throughout the season."
Progressive AFT says that officials will utilize Cardo's wireless communicator during its Honda Talon Experience at each race. "With Cardo's Dynamic Mesh Communication (DMC), Progressive AFT crew members can seamlessly communicate with the Honda Talon driver in an 'always on' intercom network. The IP67 waterproof and dustproof design of the PACKTALK BOLD provides durability and dependability regardless of track conditions, while sound by JBL provides crystal-clear sound quality when communicating throughout the race."
In unrelated news, it has been announced that Tel Aviv and Plano, Texas based Cardo Systems has been sold by prior owner and founder/chairman Dr. Abraham Glezerman and leading Israeli private equity tech investor specialist Fortissimo Capital to London, England based EMK Capital for an undisclosed sum.
Cardo's products are sold in over 80 countries, with additional operations in Europe and Asia, and employs over 100 people worldwide.
Dr. Abraham Glezerman founded Cardo in 2003. A year later, the newly formed company was the first to introduce personal Bluetooth-based communicators to the motorcycle industry, adding a completely new product category to the accessory market. To date, the company has sold over six million communication devices worldwide.
