FTR Carbon
Indian Motorcycle Europe has introduced a premium addition to the FTR line-up - the 2020 FTR Carbon "enhances the desirability of the highly innovative model by featuring exquisite carbon fiber bodywork with a low-mount black Akrapovic exhaust.
"Inspired by the Indian FTR750, which has dominated Flat Track Racing with three Grand National titles in a row, it is clear to see, the FTR Carbon has racing in its DNA."
Mike Dougherty, President of Indian Motorcycle, said: "For the discerning rider, the FTR Carbon offers a collectable motorcycle with the highest level of finish and raises the bar for American motorcycles once again. Delivering the finest riding experience, and with the carbon accents enhancing the unique FTR styling, the FTR Carbon is sure to draw admiring looks anywhere you ride."
Features include a carbon fiber front fender, long travel (150 mm), fully adjustable suspension, carbon fiber headlight nacelle, carbon fiber tank/airbox covers, carbon fiber passenger seat cowl, Akrapovic low-mount exhaust in black and 'FTR Carbon' branded center console plate.
The FTR Carbon comes fully loaded with cruise control, dual disc Brembo ABS brakes, traction control, full LED lighting for better visibility and a 4.3" LED touchscreen dashboard featuring a USB fast-charge port and Bluetooth compatibility for charging and controlling mobile devices.
"The smooth, liquid-cooled 1,203 cc V-twin engine, developing 93 kW of power and 120 Nm of torque, has an impressively flat torque curve and strong acceleration throughout the rpm range. Lean-angle sensitive stability control, ABS, traction control and wheelie mitigation control can be modified by three ride modes (Sport, Standard, Rain), providing unique throttle responses and traction control intervention levels."
