Viola V-Twin program adds
500 new parts for 2014
A new 290 page VVT catalog edition is being unveiled for this year, and with it come some 500 new parts and a valuable 50 page cross-reference resource - consolidating the program’s ‘one-stop-shop’ service parts mantra.
In reaching into the service parts sector S&S has leveraged its workshop experience and brand integrity to bring together product from leading manufacturers such as Perf-form Filters, Cometic Gasket, Alto, All Balls Racing, Cycle Electric and Wiseco Piston.
The new part numbers this year include service and install task-specific kits as well as individual parts and service items. As the new Viola V-Twin Brand Manager and product line analyst Kevin Boarts put it, the aim is to “take the hard work out of what should be the simplest of sourcing needs.
“I know from my time working in dealerships, and from my time on the customer services and tech-line desks here at S&S Cycle, that waiting on the service items you need for a customer’s bike causes nothing but frustration all-round.
“In a mature industry like ours you’d have thought that workshops would be able to source the items they find they need quickly and efficiently, but it is still surprising how difficult it can be to get what you need at all, never mind from a single source.
“So that is what the Viola V-Twin program does for the industry - it helps get those bikes out of the door and back on the road as quickly as possible, allowing dealers to enhance their reputation for great service and to get the lift back earning more money”.
The latest additions include the two new kits seen here - complete installation kits for cams and for starters.
