The Falex Pin and V Block Test assesses wear protection under extreme pressure, mirroring the stresses faced by engine components. The Four Ball Wear Test measures the oil's ability to prevent wear by analyzing the scar diameter on metal balls under load.
The NOACK Volatility Test evaluates the oil's evaporation loss at high temperatures, crucial for maintaining viscosity and engine protection in extreme heat, and the Viscosity Index Test ensures the oil maintains consistent viscosity across a wide range of temperatures, providing reliable performance in both hot and cold conditions.
