Lyndall Touring Perimeter Mounted Rotors
San Marcos, Texas based Lyndall Brakes, has announced the release of new, precision-engineered touring rotors, designed specifically for the 2024 and 2025 Harley-Davidson Road Glide and Street Glide models.
With the emphasis on advanced braking technology, performance and durability, 30 years brake product R&D goes into every new Lyndall design. These new precision machined touring rotors leverage that experience to seamlessly integrate with the updated braking systems 2024 and 2025 Harley models.
Made from 410 Martensitic steel (JFE410DB-ER to be specific), these perimeter mounted rotors are fastened to the spoke of the wheel and float on a wave spring.
They are 320 mm overall diameter with 4.5 mm thickness. The 2024 and 2025 non-CVOs utilize the same HD Brembo calipers that Harley has used since 2008. Front calipers on CVO and CVO ST models in 2024 and 2025 were upgraded to an OE style Brembo 100 mm radial caliper, with the release of the inverted front end for touring bikes.
"Our rotors are heat-treated, double-disc ground, and CNC machined to precise tolerances - never laser cut or stamped," says Lyndall's CEO Paul Kittrell. "Our design features a unique gas slot that ejects hot air much better than the traditional laser-cut or stamped holes. We are so confident in our materials and methods that we lifetime guarantee our rotors against warpage (when used with Lyndall Brakes brake pads).
"Advanced metallurgy and superior rotor geometry define these new rotors. We engineered them to handle the demands of high-performance touring bikes, enhancing braking efficiency while offering reduced weight and improved heat dissipation - critical factors for long-distance riders and those pushing their bikes to the limit.
"We've always believed in putting performance, reliability, and safety first, and our new rotors for the 2024 and up Road Glide and Street Glide are no exception. We've spent countless hours in development so that rotors to ensure they deliver the best possible braking experience for Harley riders, with a product that's built to last."
These are subjected to a rigorous testing process that ensures maximum performance in all riding conditions. "Whether you're cruising on a long ride or navigating tight city streets, Lyndall's rotors provide the superior stopping power that serious riders demand."
The new 2024+ touring rotors are now available for order through Lyndall Brakes distributors such as Parts Unlimited, WPS (HardDrive), Zodiac International, and Rollies in Australia.
