Thrashin Supply anti-reversion exhaust for Dyna/FXR

Luke Leatherman, of Feuling Parts fame, has established an additional business – Thrashin Supply. It is a joint venture with Lance Coury, a former MX free style rider (an X-Games Gold Medal Winner no less), the new business’ fast-growing product lines include exhausts, hard parts, apparel, gloves and bags.

Seen here are anti-reversion exhausts for DYNA/FXR models that are a collaboration with Leatherman’s existing business.
Described as “the ultimate in V-twin performance exhausts,” Luke says: “Over a year in the making and after countless hours spent on design and in the Dyno room, we bring you an all-new 2-into-1 anti-reversion system with equal length stepped head pipes using Jim Feuling’s patented design anti-reversion ‘AR’ chambers (Patent numbers: US 4206600 A & 6336471 B1) and optional perforated ‘Dog Ball’ muffler core (Patent #5,173,576).

“These technologies promote continuous exhaust gas flow, reducing ‘reversionary’ pressure waves or ‘unwanted’ exhaust pollution of the intake charge and combustion chamber, providing increased engine performance and efficiency. This true performance stainless steel pipe starts with square cut head pipe spigots, which promote a smooth transition from the exhaust port to head pipe with a true .625” inside diameter.
“Eliminating the choked-up transition and mushroomed gaskets common with most exhaust systems, Jim Feuling’s patented head pipe AR chambers are placed in the head pipe at the transition from 1 3/4” to 1 7/8” with another AR chamber at the exit of the collector into the 2 1/2” muffler inlet.
“The optional ‘Dog Ball’ baffle absorbs high pitch frequencies, producing a unique deep tone while minimizing the effects to column inertia through the muffler. All Thrashin baffles are wrapped in replaceable stainless steel high temp mat and high temperature fiberglass, providing extended life packing while minimizing muffler discoloration. The exhaust exit is capped off with optional styles of reverse end cones and ID sizing to meet your engine’s demands and personal sound preference.

“These combined features reduce gas flow resistance, back pressure and aid in the elimination of reversionary effect. Designed and made in America, they are available in brushed, polished and black finish. Muffler baffle options range from a mild sound 2 1/4” up through very aggressive high flow 2 7/8”.”
