2017 Championship of the Americas

COTA – Final Call for Builders

An important message for all bike builders from MIC Custom Culture Director Bob Kay as ‘Team America’ seeks its final member for 2018.

The 2017 Championship of the Americas @ AIMExpo in Columbus presents the last opportunity in the United States to earn expense money and a pre-paid entry to the prestigious AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building at INTERMOT ‘Customized’ in Cologne, Germany, in October 2018.
“This is your chance to join Jordan Dickinson and Jesse Basset, already slated for Team America 2018. Just go to aimexpousa.com, click on register and scroll down to Championship of the Americas. You can enter right up to Wednesday, September 20th at 5pm.

“Once again, this year’s winner of the FreeStyle class will win $7,500 of expenses to send him and his bike to INTERMOT in Cologne, Germany. We also have our three other classes - Retro Custom, Street Custom and Performance Custom.
“I have arranged for free secure trailer parking for builders competing in the Hot Bike Tour or the Cherokee Blue Ridge Run, so they can drop their trailers off in Columbus and not have to tow them back and forth.
“We have a marshalling yard in Columbus, 8 minutes from the Columbus Convention Center, with free trailer parking during the event. Once again, the Championship of the Americas will be the centerpiece of the Custom Culture Pavilion, one of the highest attendee traffic areas of AIMExpo.
“A D Farrow Harley-Davidson is sponsoring a VIP Builder Meet and Greet at their downtown location with VIP drinks and food for the builders from 6 – 8pm on Thursday 21st; Chris Callen of Cycle Source magazine will be moderating builder interviews between 6 and 8pm.
“It’s a big year for AIMExpo and the custom market with both Harley and Indian displaying big time and both of their CEOs delivering the opening Key Note speeches. Call me with any questions. Don’t miss out, REGISTER TODAY.
