Paughco

Rear axle trike assemblies

Long before the latest rise in popularity of trikes and trike conversions, Paughco was all over three- wheelers built around H-D power plants, frames and other OEM driveline components.

Today the company offers trike enthusiasts one of, if not the largest, selection of three-wheel conversion products. Seen here, their comprehensive collection of rear axle drive assemblies include units designed specifically for converting Sportster, Softail, FXR, Dyna and chain drive models - just about every possible configuration is covered.
Made in the USA, Paughco’s rear axle assemblies “feature the finest quality components and rugged construction. Housings are constructed from precision-cut and welded 1” x 4” and 1” x 2½” rectangular tubing. Axle tubes are precision-crafted from 2 3/8” diameter thick-wall tubing and solid steel, CNC machined carriers house US-made Dana 44 spider gears.
“Automotive-style Timken-type splined wheel hubs provide exceptional strength and are designed for severe use applications. Disc brake components include black Wilwood two-piston calipers and two-piece 11.09” diameter rotors with an offset hat.”
