Drag Specialties

Cycle Electric at Drag Specialties

In stock at Drag Specialties, this rectifying regulator made in the USA by Cycle Electric of Englewood, Ohio, controls the voltage on Harley-Davidson alternators - unlike other rectifiers or regulators that dump to ground and cause maximum stator current and higher temperatures.

By blocking the current to control the voltage it reduces stator current, resulting in low temperature and less drag on the motor, which means more efficient operation on ‘09-‘13 FLHT, FLHX, FLHR and FLTRX models (with low-mount oil cooler).

Also seen here, Cycle Electric’s 3-phase 50A stator charging kit features insulation that is able to withstand temperatures of 600°F to eliminate stator burnout. Providing better low-speed output to reduce battery discharge at idle, and lower operating temperature for longer service life, the improved plugs will not swell or separate. Available for ‘04-‘05 FLHT, FLHR, FLHX and FLTR models.
