Street Shield/Deflector Screen for Scout

Maywood, Illinois-based manufacturer National Cycle has released details about an all-new Quantum hardcoated polycarbonate Street Shield and Deflector Screen as certified fitments for the Indian Scout.
The Street Shield and Deflector Screen “are the world’s most popular small windshield designs. Originally introduced in 1980, riders favor their small size and innovative, flexible mounting hardware, which allows for a wide range of fitments and adjustability on the motorcycle,” according to the company.

National Cycle’s expertise in polycarbonate windshield forming led to the development of the new windshields with Quantum hardcoated polycarbonate - “the ultimate material for motorcycle windshields.
“State-of-the-art manufacturing techniques combined with this high quality material give these windscreens outstanding clarity and strength characteristics unmatched by any windscreen maker worldwide. They are 30 times more scratch resistant and have 20 times greater crack and impact resistance than other aftermarket windscreens on the market made from commonly used acrylic.”
“At National Cycle, the best just got better,” says Paul Gomez, National Cycle’s Aftermarket Sales Rep. “The Deflector Screen and Street Shield, the world’s most copied windshields since their introduction 36 years ago, have been redesigned and re-engineered in unbeatable Quantum hardcoated polycarbonate for the next generation of Indian Scout riders. Their compact, streamlined size and the innovative, adaptable mounting hardware allow a wide range of options and adjustability on the Scout.
National Cycle offers a 3-year warranty against breakage. Ensuring simplicity and ease of use, the mounting hardware included with the new Street Shield and Deflector Screen uses as few moving parts as possible, while still offering adjustability and a 15-minute install time.
