ACCEL adds Stealth SuperCoils for Sportster

ACCEL has increased its Stealth SuperCoils product line with the inclusion of an option for use on Harley-Davidson Sportsters ‘07-‘14.

First introduced in late ‘13 for H-D Twin Cam engines, ACCEL’s Stealth SuperCoils are claimed to provide quicker engine starting and improved throttle response, while hiding all ignition wiring in the head of the self-contained coil pack, eliminating the need for spark plug wires and creating a clean, custom look.
Each SuperCoil mounts directly to the spark plug and features a cross-functional cast aluminum cover that also acts as a heat sink, pulling heat away from the cylinder heads.
In addition to the flat black and natural aluminum finishes, the Sportster Stealth SuperCoils are offered in flat black with polished aluminum edges.
“The Twin Cam Harley Stealth SuperCoils proved to be popular. In response to increased demand, we’ve expanded our product applications, and the next logical step was to offer them for Sportster owners,” said Jason Ellison, Business Unit Manager for the ACCEL Powersports division. “Sportster owners can now experience the clean look and improved performance that the ACCEL Stealth Supercoils provide.”
As with other Stealth SuperCoil applications, ACCEL’s system requires no cutting or splicing of the factory wiring harness. The use of Delphi connectors means installation is a simple plug and play affair. The coil itself boasts a faster rise time and higher voltage than the traditional system, meaning the plugs receive maximum spark energy and perform even better. As with all ACCEL SuperCoils, the Stealth SuperCoils are covered by ACCEL’s limited lifetime warranty.
