Legend REVO-ARC Extended Coil Touring Shocks
Sturgis, South Dakota based Legend Suspensions has released details of its REVO-ARC remote reservoir shock absorber upgrades for FL applications from 1999–2025.
Featuring adjustable rebound and compression damping, a touring-specific extended coil has been designed to deliver a "plush, performance-driven experience. The extended coil increases control and resists bottoming out - without changing the overall shock length."
There are external knobs for precision rebound and compression tuning - no tools are needed as the design means easy hand-adjustments with the ACME threaded body. Legend says that minimal preload changes are needed across varying weights and loads.
The high-performance build features billet aluminum monotube dampers, PTFE bearings, and low-friction seals.
The adjustable rebound allows riders to fine-tune how their bike responds after hitting a bump - controlling how fast the shock returns, which can be tuned according to riding preference to make the ride feel either more or less "bouncy".
The compression is built into the reservoir - this lets riders adjust how firm or soft the ride feels by controlling oil flow during compression, resulting in customizable suspension performance. Precision-installed spherical bearings allow the shocks to pivot side-to-side, preventing chassis binding and ensuring smooth, stable cornering.
REVO-A shocks are also available as piggyback shocks for selected Dyna, FXR and Sportster fitments.
