Havoc Motorcycles and Aquatic AV

Havoc Motorcycles and Aquatic AV - 'ROAR' Road King Stereo EcoSystem

Prince Edward Island, Canada based Havoc Motorcycles and Aquatic AV have collaborated to answer what they say is the primary complaint of Road King and Softail owners regarding audio options - "how do I get high wattage highway sound without a fairing?"

To solve that problem, Havoc and Aquatic AV say they have precision-engineered an audio ecosystem designed specifically for un-faired Harleys. Born from Havoc's background as a boutique manufacturer and refined through their partnership with waterproof-audio giants Aquatic AV, the "Havoc Roar Stereo" (HRS) systems are an architectural upgrade that places an Aquatic AV gauge stereo right up on the Road King nacelle cap, or Softail handlebar clamp.

Featuring the same internals as their "wildly popular batwing and sharknose head units they are positioned where riders can see the display and control the sound."

"The full 6-speaker 'Surround' ecosystem, showcasing the partnership between Havoc's CNC-machined billet housings and Aquatic AV electronics."

Billet Engineering: Form Meets Function

The stereo pod and speaker pods (3.5" for the handlebars and 6.5" for the highway bars) are CNC-machined from aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, available in show chrome or black powder coated finishes.

The design feels OEM: "the radius of the components, the symmetry of the classic design line down the side, all match factory geometry so perfectly it looks like it was always part of the bike," says the team at Havoc

"When you're riding an un-faired bike at 70 mph, you're fighting acoustic smear from wind, exhaust, and vibration. Our rigid, machined housings eliminate the flex that kills sound quality, and they enable the use of Aquatic AV's Harley-specific speakers with their big wattage amps."

The HRS components combine to enable a suite of scaled power configurations:

The Sport (2-Speaker): Ranging from 144W to 480W using either 3.5" handlebar pods, 6.5" highway bar pods, or saddlebag speakers.

The Immersive (4-Speaker): Combinations of four speakers ranging from 444W to 960W.

The Surround (6-Speaker): "Where restraint goes to die," delivering a staggering 1,100 Watts of concert-grade power using Aquatic AV's newest 1,200-watt amplifier, via handlebar pods, highway bar pods, and saddlebag lids.

"Form meets function: The 6.5" highway bar pods provide massive front-stage audio while maintaining the naked silhouette and classic lines of the Road King."

The Roadlock Advantage

Under the hood, the system utilizes 100% Aquatic AV's legendary waterproof components - head units, speakers, and amplifiers. To house the massive power required for highway speeds, Havoc developed the Roadlock saddlebag amplifier bracket (for Road King and OEM Softail bags).

This uses the bike's existing saddlebag mounting hardware to securely host Aquatic AV's 300W, 600W, or 1200W amplifiers inside the bag.  "We wanted a solution that felt factory. The Roadlock uses the saddlebag mounting points for a rock-solid fit. When paired with our wiring harnesses, it turns a high-output installation into a clean, straightforward process."

"The Havoc Roar head unit nacelle mount, featuring Aquatic AV's gauge stereo integrated directly into the rider's line of sight."

Instant Dealer Activation

Havoc is recognizing all existing authorized dealers of Aquatic AV and Havoc Motorcycles as automatically approved to carry the Havoc Roar Stereo line. "We know the quality of the shops already working with Aquatic AV. We won't make them jump through hoops. If you're already a dealer for our partner, you're a Havoc Roar dealer. One phone call, and you're in business."

From its roots as a custom shop to its status as a federally-recognized motorcycle manufacturer, "Havoc Motorcycles builds machines and components for riders who refuse to settle. Their mission is simple: performance first, customization always, and no compromise on quality."

Biker Fest International

40th Biker Fest International - Europe’s largest motorcycle rally

May 14 to 17, 2026, Lignano Sabbiadoro (Udine - Italy)

Following the extraordinary success of the 2025 show, which recorded 265,000 attendees over the course of the weekend, Biker Fest International once again confirms its status as the biggest motorcycle rally in Europe and the third largest event of this kind in the world - after the legendary U.S. rallies of Sturgis and Daytona.

In 2026 the event, which attracts hundreds of thousands of enthusiasts and more than 350 international exhibitors, will reach a special milestone with its 40th anniversary.

Founded in 1987 within the biker movement, the event has gradually expanded to embrace the world of two wheels in all its forms, while maintaining a strong connection to its rebellious roots in the custom culture.

The beating heart of the festival is its Custom Bike Show, one of the longest running in Europe. Since its inception it has anticipated customization trends by showcasing some of the most spectacular special bikes built by leading international customizers.

As the only Italian AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building Approved Cuatom Bike Show, the Lignano round also serves as the final of Italy’s national championship for custom builders - the Italian Motorcycle Championship (IMC).

Alongside the well-established rock music program, all the areas that have made BFI unique will be staged again – these include Europe’s largest and most comprehensive Demo Ride hub, featuring the official participation of leading motorcycle manufacturers; the e-Mobility Village, dedicated to new mobility solutions; the Off Road area with its spectacular dirt riding shows; and the Market Area.

Among the main new features already announced for this special anniversary are the Sisterhood Run, an on-the-road experience dedicated to female riders, and the Customizer’s Parade, in which custom builders themselves will lead the much-anticipated Saturday Night Fever, riding their one-off creations.

It also projected that the U.S. government will spend $1.853tn more than it brings in through revenue this year (the budget deficit) and have an even wider gap in 2027. U.S. government debt has increased from $13.7tn in 2010 to more than $38.tn as of February 2026.

Founded in 2019 and winner of the Silver Bar & Shield award for 2024, Diamondback Harley-Davidson in Lawton, Oklahoma (Willy Sullivan) has received Harley's 2025 Platinum Bar & Shield Award for exceptional service - a recognition given to the top five Harley dealerships in the nation.

Italian conglomerate and TVS Motor Company - owner of Norton Motorcycles since 2020 - has passed Yamaha to become world's third-largest motorcycle manufacturer by annual unit volume. TVS sold approximately 5.46 million motorcycles and scooters in 2025, a 20.7% increase from 4.52 million units the previous year. Yamaha recorded roughly 5 million units, up just 0.8% year over year. The change marks one of the most notable reshuffles in the global motorcycle industry in recent years. Honda, meanwhile, retained its dominant position with 16.44 million units sold globally in 2025, while Hero MotoCorp remained second with 6.25 million units.

For the second consecutive year, Turn14 Distribution will return as the presenting sponsor of the 2026 Permco AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days (VMD) - running July 24-26 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. Last year's event drew tens of thousands of riders, collectors, and enthusiasts, with AMA calling it "the best weekend in American motorcycling."

In Europe, FEMA says that "technical inspections for motorcycles are a solution looking for a problem", claiming that the EU's effort to expand mandatory Periodical Technical Inspections (PTI) to all motorcycles is not backed up by the claim that 'testing improves safety'. FEMA's Wim Taal says that "the evidence does not support that claim".

The industry is mourning the passing of George Barber, founder of Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum, who died at age 85. The AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer and industry icon's name is synonymous with motorcycle preservation and heritage, having built what is widely recognized as the world's largest collection of historic motorcycles. His museum, located in Birmingham, Alabama, houses more than 1,800 motorcycles spanning more than a century of two-wheel history. Barber's passion for motorsports began with sports car racing in the 1960s, where he raced and maintained his own Porsche competition cars. The museum moved to its present home - an 830-acre complex that also includes the 2.38-mile Barber Motorsports Park road circuit - in 2003.

More than just an event, Wheels and Waves (Biarritz, FR) "has established itself as a true cultural movement. For over a decade, we've stood at the crossroads of disciplines motorcycle, surf, skate, art, and music blending them with boldness and sincerity." The 15th W&W Festival will be staged from June 10 to 14, 2026.

Harley-Davidson

New Chrome Options

Harley-Davidson has revealed three additions to its 2026 motorcycle line – a new solo trim option for the Road Glide model and a new chrome trim option for the Road Glide 3 trike and Low Rider S performance cruiser.

The chrome trim option for the Road Glide 3 and Low Rider S models is a direct response to increasing customer preference migrating from dark to bright chrome finishes, a recent style trend seen globally. The chrome option features brilliant chrome on the powertrain and exhaust and other trim details, and bright machined details on the cast aluminum wheels.

"Big attitude and West Coast style define the Low Rider S model; a performance cruiser designed for the rider who wants hot rod power and aggressive style. From its adjustable suspension to the Milwaukee-Eight 117 High Output engine equipped with the Heavy Breather intake and performance-tuned 2-into-1 exhaust, this motorcycle is built to dominate the road. With the chrome trim option, the Low Rider S model has an MSRP starting at $18,999.

"With a hot rod attitude and three-wheel stance, the 2026 Road Glide 3 model introduces new performance and design features, including all-new smooth-riding rear suspension, muscular Milwaukee-Eight VVT 117 engine power, an aerodynamic fairing with all-LED lighting, touchscreen infotainment powered by Skyline OS and selectable Ride Modes. With the chrome trim option, the Road Glide 3 model has an MSRP starting at $35,799.

"For riders that prefer a lone wolf attitude, the Road Glide model solo option replaces the standard two-up touring seat with a slammed custom Low Profile Solo Touring Seat that combines street-rod style with a comfort insert for long-haul support. The Road Glide model remains the go-to bagger for performance customization. Its aerodynamic Road Glide 'sharknose' fairing coupled with the formidable Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine invites riders to push the limits of performance. The solo seat option is available in Dark Billiard Gray paint with chrome trim, with MSRP starting at $25,999 (available only in North America).

Still no news about the promised 'price-point' $6k low displacement (350/400/450 cc?) Sprint single and $10k entry-level cruiser – but hey, that's okay - these new finish options have 'Magic Chrome' and that will get ya home. Alchemy is cheaper than engineering.

Harley-Davidson Homecoming

Harley Cancels Homecoming Festival

In the latest evidence of renewal at Harley-Davidson, the MoCo has announced that effective 2026 it is ending its annual Homecoming Festival in Milwaukee - after three years - and will revert to a milestone-anniversary event strategy instead.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported the news in early March with the previously announced Homecoming dates of July 9-12, 2026, now canceled.

Harley will return to hosting large-scale hometown celebrations every five years, tied to major anniversaries. The next major event is expected in 2028, when Harley-Davidson marks its 125th anniversary.

The annual Homecoming festival debuted in 2023 for the 120th anniversary, drawing more than 80,000 attendees to Veterans Park concerts headlined by Green Day and Foo Fighters.

Attendance dropped to just over 60,000 in 2024, when Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jelly Roll led the lineup. The 2025 event also faced weather challenges, with storms forcing the cancellation of opening-night headliner Hank Williams Jr. About 40,000 attendees returned the following night for a concert headlined by Chris Stapleton.

This latest strategic shift comes after new CEO Artie Starrs replaced Jochen Zeitz as CEO in October and has started to unwind his predecessors failed rewind.

Harley-Davidson reported a profit of $339m in 2025, a 26% decline from the previous year. From $5.3bn in 2016, HD revenue from motorcycle operations had declined to $3.6bn in 2025. Over the same timescale Harley’s market capitalisation (HOG) had shrunk from $8.35bn in 2016 to $2.46bn by the end of 2025. Harley lost its much-vaunted place on the S&P 500 index in June 22, 2020.

Klock Werks

Klock Werks Releases a Flare Windshield for the Memphis Shades Road Warrior Fairing

Klock Werks (Mitchell, SD) has announced a Flare Windshield fitment for the popular Memphis Shades Road Warrior Fairing - "answering a decade of rider requests at rallies nationwide," said CEO Brian Klock. The initial release will include 15" vented Dark Smoke and Clear options along with the Ice and Kolor versions.

"We kept track of customer requests, and the definitive winner was the 15" height with a vent. Our efforts were focused on what was most sexy and functional, as always. I am proud of my team for pushing me outside my comfort zone as customers spoke up.

"The engineering team provided a quick turnaround after testing, and the result is a win for consumer demand which is good for riders who have the Road Warrior, a win for our dealers and another check in the box as our Flare program continues to grow in popularity," said Brian.

This newest Flare Windshield fitment for the Road Warrior will have made its debut at Daytona Bike week in March through J&P Cycles and Teddy Morse's Daytona Harley-Davidson. The product will be distributed globally through Klock's long-standing partners at Drag Specialties, Parts Canada, and Parts Europe. This addition to the range will also be available in Japan via Harley Custom World in Japan and in Australia through Rollie's Speed Shop.

BRL Europe

BRL Europe - 2026 Season II Schedule

One of the major attractions of the independent Bagger Racing Leage for those of an independent nature - looking at you Parts & Accessories aftermarket - is that provided it is safe, it is allowed.

The European iteration of the Bagger Racing League seen in the United States is being masterminded by Spanish former WSBK/MotoGP racer and entrepreneur Ruben Xaus. He is theoretically retired, however, having become hooked on Bagger Racing for Feuling in the BRL series in the United States, the opportunity to tear round the racetracks of Europe on a Performance Bagger last year proved too good to resist.

Proving that he's "still got it", he scooped third spot in the inaugural championship, finishing out the series on a Ducati with a third and fourth at the Jerez, Spain finale.

That was behind Championship winner Manual Grandi (Italy) who won the four countries, eight race series on an Indian Challenger, with Andrea Tomio, another Italian, second on a Ducati Diavel.

Speaking to Ruben at the end of last year, he told AMD that "the big difference is the obvious difference. In MotoGP and MotoAmerica racing, and all the national sanctions globally, everything you want to do to a bike is of course prohibited, unless it is specifically permitted within the series ruleset.

"With the independent Bagger Racing League, it is the opposite. Everything is permitted unless it is specifically prohibited and this fundamental difference is what has galvanized the performance parts and accessories aftermarket."

Which is why, as in The United States, so many of the 'aftermarket's finest' have piled in as sponsors. BRL is 'Good Racing' that is 'Good for Parts Sales'.

At the time we spoke Ruben was waiting for the final race date to be formally confirmed and has subsequently been able to go ahead and announce another four countries, four round, eight race series for 2026.

Rueben Xaus, Spain

The season will open again at Cremona in Italy (May 23-24), but while Rijeka/Croatia and Estoril/Portugal provided exciting racing and enthusiastic crowds in 2025, this year will see the series move on to Czechia at the Automotodrom Brno for Round-2 (11-12 July) and then to the world famous Nurburgring in Germany for Round-3 (September 5-6).

The series will then conclude again at the Circuito de Jerez in Spain on October 31-November 01.

It has to be said that seeing Performance Baggers racing in the former Czech Republic and then, especially, in the hugely important German market can only be good - for the racers, for the fans, for the future of the series itself and, of course, for the sponsors.

Limited availability of the Monster, Hypermotard, and DesertX, linked to the process of complying with the European Euro 5+ emissions regulations held unit sales back. In terms of volumes, Italy continues to be Ducati's leading market, with a total of 8,803 motorcycles delivered (-8%). The United States ranks second with 7,268 units (+4%), followed by Germany, the third market with 5,759 motorcycles delivered (-12%). Among the European markets Spain saw a +15% increase, along with Austria +14%. Japan posted a double-digit increase of +11%. In China, Ducati closed the year with a 31% decline compared to 2024, continuing a negative trend after a 26% decline in the previous year. The Multistrada, in all its versions, remained the most popular motorcycle family among Ducatisti enthusiasts in 2025, with 13,873 units delivered globally. The Panigale family followed, with 10,606 motorcycles delivered, while the Scrambler family recorded 5,814 units.

MadStad Engineering abruptly ceased trading and closed down at the end of September 2025. The closure by the Florida-based manufacturer of adjustable motorcycle windshields was so abrupt that it reportedly left customers with unfulfilled orders and employees without notice.

A recent House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing, and Trade hearing examined several vehicle policy issues with implications for the motorcycle and powersports industry, including federal right-to-repair legislation and a proposal aimed at curbing catalytic converter theft. The MIC sought to dissuade subcommittee leadership on the 'Right-to-Repair' legislation that was a central focus of the hearing - seeking to have motorcycles and off-highway vehicles explicitly excluded from the bill's scope. Conversely the Motorcycle Riders Foundation (MRF) supported the Subcommittee's second 2026 hearing decision advance several measures, including H.R. 1566, the Right to Equitable and Professional Auto Industry Repair (REPAIR) Act, and H.R. 3385, legislation updating the federal definition of a motorcycle. Advancing legislation out of subcommittee is a critical milestone in the congressional process.  The MRF supports these efforts as part of its federal legislative agenda, which includes protecting the right to repair and modify motorcycles, modernizing the federal definition of a motorcycle, and ensuring motorcycles are fully considered in the development and deployment of autonomous vehicles; www.mic.org,  www.mrf.org

Harley has recalled certain 2021-2026 RH1250S (Sportster S) motorcycles due to the possibility that upper triple clamp may fracture. Some 9,401 units are potentially affected.

Bajaj Mobility AG (formerly PIERER Mobility AG) has announced estimated revenue and sales figures for 2025 that put revenue at over € 1bn (-46%), with motorcycle sales of 209,704 units (-28%), which Bajaj suggests represents a "positive trend". Inventory has been reduced by more than 100,000 units; at 64,110 sales of e-bicycles and bicycles were -40% and approximately 500 jobs have been eliminated in the Group. The Group sold 80,464 motorcycles in the second half of 2025, representing a 60% increase on the first half of the year (H1: 50,334 units). In addition, 43,956 motorcycles (H1: 34,950 units) were sold in H2 via strategic partner Bajaj Auto.

ACEM

ACEM - 2025 Registrations in Key European Markets -12.9%

According to 2025 annual registrations data release by ACEM (the Brussels based international motorcycle industry trade association for Europe) new motorcycle registrations in five of the largest European markets (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK) reached 1,002,848 units during 2025.

This represents a decline of -12.9 % compared to the same period in 2024 (1,150,852 units).

Motorcycle registration volumes increased in Spain (242,580 units, +8,3 % year-on-year) while in other markets, results were negative with Italy -6.0% (331,634 units); France -16.4% (179,225 units); UK -19.3% (89,645 units) while Germany was massively down, losing a third of its market compared to 2024, at -35.7% (159,764 units).

Moped registrations reached a total volume of 142,060 units in the six European moped markets monitored by ACEM (i.e. Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain). This registration volume represents a reduction of -20.7 % in comparison to last year at the same period in 2024 (179,231units).

While Germany experienced slight growth in moped terms in 2025 (15,512 units, +4.9 %), the decline was widespread in all the other monitored countries:  Spain (13,594 units, -0.8 %), Belgium (26,195 units, -14.9 %), Netherlands (24,069 units, -25.3 %), France (48,526 units -26.4 %), and Italy (14,164 units, -35.1 %).

Commenting on these registration figures, Antonio Perlot, ACEM Secretary General, said that "the 2025 figures confirm the anticipated market correction following the Euro 5+ transition, with motorcycle registrations returning to just over one million units.

"While this represents a -12.9% decline compared to the exceptional performance of 2024, which was significantly driven by stock registrations ahead of the new emissions standard, it is important to view these results in a longer-term perspective.

"Compared to the pre-pandemic period, motorcycle registrations remain robust, going up by +14.7% in the five years since the pre-Covid 2019 levels, demonstrating that the growth in consumer interest for powered two-wheelers has been consistent, including a continued shift from mopeds to motorcycles.

"Despite the challenging economic backdrop in Europe, the L-category continues to show resilience, remaining an attractive option for both mobility and leisure. As we look to 2026, we will need to wait for the first half of the year to better assess how the market evolves."
